Dan Beaver MD, USA

Neonatal medicine

Experienced and compassionate in the care of newborns, Dr. Dan Beaver is the Director of Nurseries overseeing GRMC’s Well Baby, Special Care and Intensive Care nurseries.  He has 30 years of experience as a pediatrician and neonatologist, and is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in Neonatology.

Nick Finer, UK

Endocrinologist and clinical researcher specialising in obesity medicine, now Senior Principal Clinical Scientist with Novo Nordisk and Honorary Professor in the Institute of Cardiovascular Science, University College London and editor-in-chief of Clinical Obesity.

Barbara (BJ) Goff Ed.D

Educational and Crisis Consultant, Prader-Willi Syndrome Association/USA       

Barbara provides emergency consultation to families and schools on a variety of matters

pertaining to students with Prader-Willi syndrome.

Clare Wall, Assoc Professor Auckland University, New Zealand

Nutritionist, specialising in neonatal care, Clare has also run workshops and spoken at conferences about diet and nutrition for those with PWS.

Joan Gardner, USA

Parent, Philanthropist, fundraiser, and conference adviser, Joan has served as an adviser and committee member of PWSA USA and IPWSO.  Currently Joan is the Parent Representative from USA to IPWSO.

Tomoko Iwasaki, Japan

Formerly an English teacher at a university but now working as a medical translator. Tomoko works closely with PWSA Japan to translate or talk in public to distribute necessary information. Her daughter with PWS passed away (infant death), but Tomoko is still an active member of the PWS community.

Colin Pearson, UK

English solicitor. Advises IPWSO on English law matters. Practised law in City of London for many years. Has known of IPWSO for many years and is a friend of a family with adult daughter with PWS

Suzanne Cassidy MD USA

Medical genetics doctor in Sausalito, California and is affiliated with UCSF Medical Center.

A founding member of IPWSO and Past President, Susie is also a serving board member of PWSA USA

Tony Goldstone UK

Endocrinologist, Clinical researcher

hormonal control of appetite, neuroendocrine, hypothalamic and metabolic abnormalities in obesity and Prader-Willi syndrome, particularly investigating the causes of hyperphagia, through pre-clinical, clinical, post-mortem, genetic, interventional, fat and brain imaging studies.

Constanze Lämmer, Germany

Constanze is qualified in pediatric endocrinology, diabetology, nutrition, somnology and epileptology. She established the Hildesheim program for treating patients with PWS and sees frequently more than 300 patients with PWS.

Legal Adviser to IPWSO for 20 years and parent of a daughter with PWS.

Ellie Silberstein, Argentina

Parent of a 34 yr old daughter and founder of the Argentinian PWS Association.  Ellie was also Vice President of IPWSO and has been a long time advocate for families in Latin America where there is a child with PWS.

Tiina Silvast, Finland

Tina is a graphic designer and has done all of IPWSO's graphic work since winning the logo competition back in 1992.  Tiina is also a parent of an adult daughter with PWS.

A pioneer in GH treatment in PWS, Peter's work includes Longitudinal Growth, Diet and Physical Activity in PWS, "Need to know Nutrition" and "Physical Exercise in PWS"

Research Psychologist focusing on understanding the underpinnings of disordered behaviour shown by individuals with mental disorders.  Research I have conducted has examined genetic, neuronal function, cognitive, emotional and environmental factors within this context.

Parent, Medical Health Adviser with over 25 years experience of PWS, Janalee has been CEO of the USA PWSA, Vice Chairperson of IPWSO and Medical Adviser.

Parent of an adult daughter, Jackie is a past IPWSO Board member and has worked with PWSA UK over 20 years, specialising in staff training for PWS residential care
